Charming Cyrhla – A treat for investors and enthusiasts of the Podhale region
Toporowa Cyrhla – Amazing views, peace and natural beauty
Although as Zakolovers we work on three settlements of mountain villas, currently most of our efforts are consumed by Cyrhla Villas. Despite its undoubted charm and favourable location, the area of Toporowa Cyrhla (where our first investment is located) is not yet known to most visitors. It is high time for a change – meet Toporowa Cyrhla!

Toporowa Cyrhla is the highest situated district of Zakopane, thus offering amazing views undisturbed by the bustle of the town and massive billboards.
One can even say that you may start your mountain hike from Toporowa Cyrhla as soon as you leave the cosy and luxurious apartment thanks to its close proximity to the abundantly forested Tatra National Park. The area captivated us with its tranquillity and natural beauty – and these are the qualities that we want to preserve when creating the Cyrhla Villas settlement.
A true paradise for travellers
Although Cyrhla is far from typical urban attractions, it is surrounded by numerous recreational tourist spots. In particular, it is a treat for hikers (of varying levels of experience and stamina) who are looking for contact with nature.

- Just a 20-minute walk leads to the Tatra National Park – an absolute “must see” for nature lovers.
- Many mountain travellers choose Cyrhla as a starting point to reach Wielki Kopieniec – one of the most popular Polish peaks. Such a 5 km walk (including the return to Toporowa Cyrhla) takes about 2 hours, but in the meantime it is worthwhile taking advantage of the charms of the picturesque Kopieniec Glade and stopping for a short picnic.
- A big advantage is the Oswald Balzer road running through it, leading straight to the Morskie Oko Lake. The toughest ones can make the 20-kilometre trek to the Tatra lake right from Cyrhla (via the Psia Trawka Glade, but an equally good alternative is an 18-minute car ride to the Łysa Polana car park and starting the hike from there).
- Another point of interest on the Balzer road is the Jaszczurówka Hill, on which the remarkable 19th-century Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is located. This is a real artistic diamond of Toporowa Cyrhla – it is entirely designed by Stanislaw Witkiewicz, whose style is the main architectural inspiration for Zakolovers. The chapel is only a 25-minute walk from Cyrhla.
- As we have already mentioned, Cyrhla (due to its location) abounds in breathtaking landscapes. A 5-minute walk is enough to reach the beauty spot from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Tatra Mountains panorama – of Zakopane, Gubałówka Hill and Giewont Mountain.
- Cyrhla is also a wonderful place for cycling enthusiasts. A bicycle is a comfortable and environmentally friendly alternative to a car, so whenever the weather permits, we recommend opting for two wheels! Excellent location makes it possible to organise an interesting trip for the whole family, for example via Murzasichle to Poronin.
Other advantages of Cyrhla – or how to have fun in the winter season?
One cannot, of course, forget about one of the main reasons why tourists come to Podhale in winter in large numbers. Cyrhla is actually an ideal location for skiers and snowboarders – within a 12-minute car ride, there are as many as three ski lifts located – Nosal, Harenda and Ufo. Also the youngest ones can go sledging at any time, as in winter there are numerous snowy hills in the surrounding area.
However, after a full day’s exertion on the slope, it is worth allowing yourself a moment’s rest. And if you are in the mood, it takes only 7 minutes by car to get to the very centre of Zakopane. There are also Thermal Baths in Bukowina located at a similar distance, where everyone will find something for themselves.

As you can see, Cyrhla is in many ways an unusual district, the beauty of which we would like to highlight. Apart from its natural charm, its by far the greatest asset is its excellent location, which is, after all, the main criterion for choosing a place to stay. We realise that many people may not be familiar with Cyrhla, and certainly not as well as with the main districts of Zakopane. That is why we believe that our beautiful and comfortable mountain villas surrounded by the greenery of the Tatra National Park will encourage you to get acquainted with the area and explore its trails.
